50-plus put brain power to test at Temple Sinai

The Cranston Herald ·

Temple Sinai held a Trivia Night on April 7. A light supper with a variety of veggie pizzas, calzones and salad were served. Dessert and coffee was prepared by volunteers and the event was BYOB with in-house babysitting available. More than 50 people were in attendance at the community-building social event.

The trivia master, Patrick Wyllie from Eternal Events, ran the trivia games throughout the evening.  He is an experienced professional who has equipment with a big screen on which to display the questions, which are mostly in the category of general knowledge.

Friendly competition was one element of this enjoyable game. Participants got points for correct answers, but there was a twist – you have points deducted for incorrect answers. You might be in first place one minute, and, just a few minutes later, you get the next question wrong and could be in last place.

The winning team Wondering Jews received the top prize.
