Bristol arrests: Cyberstalking, assault, DUI

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests:

Melissa Galipeau, 24, of 32 Cold Spring St., Woonsocket, was charged with cyberstalking Jan. 9.

Jimmy A. Costa, 35, of 308 Division St., Apt. 1, Pawtucket, was charged with two counts of passing fraudulent checks. He was also arrested as a fugitive from justice. He was brought to the ACI Jan. 14.

Rosa Ortiz, 44, of 117 Bradford St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was cited for driving without a license after an accident at Chestnut and Naomi streets just after 3 p.m.

Kathryn P. Rasmussen, 43, of 34 Pearse Ave., Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after she was involved in an accident with injuries on Wood Street just before 4 a.m. Jan. 15.

Adam Justin Machado, 24, of 41 Fern Drive, Warren, was charged with assault with intent to commit a felony, disorderly conduct and conspiracy after police responded to reports of a fight on Metacom Avenue at 7:30 p.m.
