Cherry Blossom Princess

Warwick resident Kim Kalunian was crowned Rhode Island’s Cherry Blossom Princess in ceremonies Friday in the State Room of the State House by the State Society of Rhode Island, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council and the Rhode Island Cherry Blossom Committee. She made her formal debut Friday night at the Cupid Ball Fundraiser at the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center. A reporter and producer on Newstalk 630 WPRO, Kalunian will join other Cherry Blossom Princesses from other states in Washington, D.C. She will also host the state Cherry Blossom Festival May 2-4 to be held in Pawtucket. Participating in the crowning ceremony was (from left) Lt.
