Possible RI suspects sought in Mass. credit card fraud probe

Multiple suspects believed to be from the Cranston, Warwick or Providence area are being sought by Cambridge, Mass., police in connection with a credit card scheme that has taken place in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The Cambridge Police Department is investigating multiple incidents of credit card fraud at a local business. The majority of the compromised accounts are being used in the Rhode Island and Connecticut area.

The suspects are thought to be operating a gray 2014 Toyota 4-Runner with a hood protector. The vehicle’s registration is unknown.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspects is asked to contact Cambridge police at 617-349-9307. Detective Brian O’Connor is investigating.
