A Delicious Milestone in Westerly

The Westerly Land Trust is celebrating a big milestone this month: its 30th anniversary. The celebrations will include a farm dinner fundraiser at Avondale Farm Preserve on September 9. Although this is an annual event for the land trust, this year’s dinner will be bigger and better than ever.

The Preserve will be transformed into a culinary wonderland, and the event will start with hors d’oeuvres and drinks before moving on to a seated alfresco dinner in a stunning field. The dinner will draw on items grown, caught and raised in Rhode Island, and guests will have the opportunity to learn all about these items from those who procured them.
