Praise for the arts: There was no lack of enthusiasm Thursday as Cedar Hill School students displayed their artistic creations and sang, danced and recited original poetry at the arts night staged by the PTO. Cedar Hill School students and parents filled the school Thursday for an evening of the arts that, in addition to work that covered corridor walls, included musical performances, dancing and poetry readings. Two artistic works, one from their class work and another from the Arts Masters program run by the PTO from every student, was on exhibit. In addition, awards were presented to arts competition winners in grades K to 3: Luke Deising, Daniella Sisco, Mason Cordle and Sayuri and, grade 4 to 6, Reilly Darrow, Lakshana Ramanan and Aroo Jang. Also recognized were poetry competition winners Aahira Kamal, Lakshana Ramanan, Alana Modi, Shrinidhi Sudhkar Gayathridevi and Maya Madison.
