To the editor,
On Aug. 11, the Bristol Phoenix published a letter I had written concerning the investigation of state Rep. and 2015 Independence Day Parade Chief Marshal Raymond Gallison.
Foolishly, I invoked the names of 19th and 19th century Bristol men of unsavory reputations. I erred and blundered by including the name of attorney Robert L. DeCosta Bernard in the same paragraph as those nefarious Bristolials. Truly, I was wrong to use Mr. Bernard’s name in the letter.
I off my most sincere apology to Mr. Bernard and Bristol Phoenix readers.
