Ann M. St. Germain, 61, Bristol

Ann M. St. Germain, 61, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Oct. 4 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. 

Daughter of the late Walter and Joan (Brodeur) St.Germain, Ann was a 1973 graduate of Bristol High School and a 1978 graduate of Northeastern University. She was a lifelong, true and faithful resident of Bristol. While never meeting a holiday she did not like, the 4th of July celebration in Bristol was her greatest joy and passion, enjoying all things historic, patriotic and red white and blue. Particular pleasure was had following her beloved Red Sox through their 2016 AL East Divisional Championship.  

Mourning her loss are sisters Debra St. Germain and Carol Diaz, and brother Mark St.Germain; as well as their children, Christopher Diaz, Jonathan McFadden, Aimee and Kali St.Germain. She also leaves longtime companion Dennis Proulx. She was predeceased by her brother, David St.Germain.

Her funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 10:30 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Friday, 4-7 p.m.
