At Pilgrim: A lot happens when the lights go off

The Pilgrim High School Players will present the murder mystery comedy play “While the Lights Were Out” this weekend, April 7th-April 9th.

Tickets can be bought at the door, $8 for adults and $5 for students and children under 10. Jack Sharkey wrote the play.

It is about a family that is having a party when all of a sudden the lights go out. They hear a pistol shot and when the lights turn back on, they see a blonde woman standing over the dead victim holding a bloody dagger.

This is the beginning of a hilarious and bizarre murder mystery.

The cast of this play for Pilgrim (in order of appearance ) goes as follows : Coral Houghton ( Lord Clive Wickenham ), Gabrielle Young ( Lady Monica Wickenham ), Kayley Hollingshead (Nancy Stafford), Julio Samayoa ( Roderick Remley ), Chelsea Lavallee ( Mimosa ), Dylan Bowden (Benjamin Braddock ), Deryn Ordway ( Alma Threedle ), Rachel Goding ( Jasmine Perdoo ), Mary Mullane ( Bibi Cavendish ), Ryan Bruhn ( Pierre Pourri ), Jackson Bazarnick ( Algernon Wickenham ), Sydney Perez ( Fredonia Custardine ), Kelsey Carreiro ( Chloe Custardine ), Mariah Hunt ( Unidentified Blonde ), and Jeffery Perreault ( Tom Groggins ).

The Understudy Cast includes Zachary LaFontaine, Daniel McQuade, Isabelle Nunez, Grace Pine, Emily Souza and Abbey Spolidoro.

Members of the crew are Georgia Testa ( Stage Manager ), Casey Cokely ( Set Manager ), Sarah Corbin and Sarah Poppe ( Property managers ), Brendan Choquette ( Stage Lighting ), Alex Higgins ( Stage Lighting and Audio ), Angelina Antonizio ( Audio – Microphones ), Sydney Caprara ( Curtains ), and Jada DaRosa and Brianna Garvey ( Stage Technicians ).
