An employee at the RiteAid Pharmacy called police on Monday, April 10, after the boys were spotted trying to steal condoms and candy from the store.

An employee confronted the boys — there were three involved in the initial incident — just outside the store. One of the boys handed over a pack of condoms but then the three ran off, still in possession of another pack of condoms and some Sour Patch Kids candy.

One of the boys reportedly fled the area, but police located the other two nearby. They were charged and then released to their parents. Their case will be sent to the town's juvenile hearing board.
