Bristol police break up drug ring, seize narcotics, arrest three

Bristol Police broke up an alleged drug ring in town this week, seizing more than $10,000 worth of narcotics and arresting three residents for their alleged involvement.

Kenny Savinon, 36, of 26 Bay View Ave., first floor, Bristol, is the suspected ring leader of the group, according to police reports. An investigation spanning the past several months revealed Mr. Savinon and two accomplices were involved in distributing multiple illegal drugs, including cocaine, heroin, steroids and more, Police Chief Josue Canario announced Friday.

Bristol detectives allegedly discovered Mr. Savinon was storing and distributing the drugs out of his apartment and businesses he owns in town, including Get Liquidated, his variety store at 15 Gooding Ave., where he was arrested Aug. 24. Officers also searched two small businesses at 34 Central St. During the searches, assisted by K-9 units from Middletown Police and the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office, officers found and seized more than two ounces of suspected cocaine, about three grams of heroin, one gram of fentanyl, several jars of marijuana, 10 mature marijuana plants, three vials of suspected steroids, and packaging materials.

Mr. Savinon is charged with seven crimes, including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of steroids, delivery of heroin, controlled substance conspiracy and maintaining a common nuisance.

The two others arrested include Lindsey Brissette, 24, of 145 Franklin St, Apt. 2, Bristol, charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of Fentanyl, controlled substance conspiracy and maintaining a common nuisance; and Natasha Enos, 31, of 34 Central St, Apt. 1, Bristol, charged with controlled substance conspiracy and maintaining a common nuisance.

Mr. Savinon has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 2004, including arrests for domestic violence, assault and multiple drug charges, including possession and possession with intent to distribute. Mr. Savinon was remanded to the ACI and was due in court Friday.

Ms. Brissette was also held pending a bail hearing scheduled for Sept. 5. Ms. Enos was released after appearing in 6th District Court.
