ASSAULT

On May 14 at 11:08 p.m., Officer Sullivan arrested Edwardo Torres, 22, of 255 Arnold St. first floor in Woonsocket, for domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct. His arrest was the result of a disturbance at 1304 Cranston St., and he was held overnight awaiting arraignment at Third District Court.  

Officers Bellevue and Sirois arrested Joshua O’Donnell of 1350 Elmwood Ave. #1F in Cranston on May 15 at 2:27 a.m. for domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for a disturbance at 1350 Elmwood Ave. O’Donnell was held overnight for arraignment at Third District Court.

Christopher Mitchell, 51, of 74 Lambert St. Apt 112 in Cranston, was arrested on May 14 at 4:36 p.m. by Officer Leonard for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct after a call for service at the above address. Mitchell was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Following a call for a disturbance in the parking lot of 935 Pontiac Ave. Building 6 on May 9 at 5:23 a.m., Officers Laquale and Sirois arrested Nicholas Minutelli, 22, of 2 Poplar Drive in Cranston for domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct. He was held awaiting arraignment at Third District Court. 

BREAKING AND ENTERING

On May 14 at 6:23 p.m. Officer Leonard arrested Lisa Dwyer, 38, of 1017 Reservoir Ave. in Cranston, for breaking and entering into a dwelling when a resident was home, vandalism and disorderly conduct. Dwyer’s arrest was the result of an attempted pick up at the above address. She was held for arraignment as a violator.

DISORDERLY

Officer Corvese arrested Stephen Rhind, 52, of 15 Azalea Court in East Greenwich on May 10 at 10:57 p.m. for domestic disorderly conduct following a call for service at 2249 Cranston St. third floor. He was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace. On May 9 at 4:44 p.m. Officer Dagnese arrested Charles Turbitt, 59, of 501 Reservoir Ave. in Cranston for Disorderly Conduct. His arrest is the result of a call for service on the railroad tracks behind 780 Wellington Av. He was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Officer Braga arrested Edward Palumbo, 53, of 10 Linden Ave. in Cranston on May 11 at 10:15 a.m. for driving under the influence second offence and refusal to take a Breathalyzer test. His arrest was the result of an accident investigation on Garfield Avenue and he was summonsed and released at RI Hospital.

On May 9 at 5:43 p.m. Officer Cragin and Sgt. McHugh arrested Christopher Boutros, 25, of 21 Beeckman Ave. in Cranston for driving under the influence first offence and refusal to take a breathalyzer test. His arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of 945 Reservoir Ave. Boutros was summonsed and released at RI Hospital.

DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE

Officer Lavey arrested Luis Marrero, 28, of 113 Harriet St. Providence on May 13 at 9:44 a.m. for driving without a license, third offense following a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue. He was given a Third District Court release to appear.

POSSESSION

Officer Travers arrested Donald Pedder, 41, of 100 Fourth Ave. in Cranston on May 14 at 7:49 p.m. for two counts of possession of schedule II drug. Pedder’s arrest was the result of a call for service at 92 Fourth Ave. He was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

PROTECTIVE ORDER

Heather Zaki, 42, of 456 Pequot Ave. in Warwick was arrested on May 10 at 2:45 p.m. by Officer Leonard for violation of a protective order. She was held for arraignment as a probation violator.

SHOPLIFTING Following a call for service at the Garfield Avenue Stop and Shop on May 13 at 9:36 p.m., Officer Travers arrested Lawrence Evans, 47, who is homeless, for felony shoplifting, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and willful trespass. He was held overnight as a violator.

On May 11 at 12:53 p.m. Officer McIntyre arrested Johnnay Brown, 19, of 145 Central Ave. #4 in Central Falls for shoplifting. His arrest is the result of call for service at 1441 Elmwood Avenue. Brown was held for arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

Officer Brown arrested Antonio Tax, 40, of 662 Union Ave. in Providence, on May 9 at 5:33 p.m. for shoplifting. His arrest is the result of a call for service at the Kmart on Garfield Avenue. He was held as an overnight violator.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

Detective Sohn arrested Michael Forti, 50, of 195A Hartford Ave. in Foster on May 11 at 8:31 p.m. for driving on a suspended license third offense or greater after a traffic stop on Budlong Road. He was issued a summons to appear at Third District Court.

VANDALISM

On May 13 at 5:25 p.m. Officer Lavey arrested Gianno Creighton, 28, of 64 Tell St. in Providence for domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct. His arrest is the result of a pick up at Pawtucket Police Department. Creighton was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released. Officer Clifford arrested Jose Melgar, 20, of 103 Wales St. in Cranston on May 12 at 11:35 p.m. for vandalism and disorderly conduct. His arrest is the result of a call for service at 201 Hillside Rd. and he was held for arraignment by a Justice of Peace.

WARRANTS

Margaret Moura, 26, of 96 Glen Dr. in Warwick, was arrested on May 15 at 3:33 p.m by Officer Mastrati for an outstanding warrant. Her arrest is the result of a motor vehicle stop at 204 Garfield Ave. and she was turned over to Warwick Police.  Following a motor vehicle stop on Richard St. on May 14 at 4:21 p.m., Officer Travers arrested Amanda Blum, 32, of 417 Doric Ave. in Cranston for a Superior Court Bench Warrant. She was later transported to the ACI. On May 13 at 5:42 p.m. Officer Travers arrested Donald Gomes Jr., 26, of 539 Potters Ave. third floor in Providence for a Superior Court bench warrant following a motor vehicle stop on Terrace Ave. He was transported to the ACI. Officer Corvese arrested Kevin Brown, 37, of 6 Jackson Ave. in Johnston on May 10 at 9:33 a.m. for a Superior Court full bench warrant. His arrest is the result of a motor vehicle stop on Gansett Av, and he was transported to Superior Court.

Francisco Santos, 21, of 7 Bodell Ave. #1 in Providence was arrested on May 9 at 9:09 p.m. by officer Corvese for an arrest warrant from Providence Police Department. His arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Narragansett Blvd. and he was turned over to Providence Police Department.
