Easter egg, scavenger hunt this weekend at Mount Hope Farm

Kids from all over are invited to Mount Hope Farm this weekend to search the grounds for treats the Easter Bunny left behind.

The fourth annual Mount Hope Farm Easter egg scavenger hunt is free for all kids Saturday, April 15, 11 a.m., at the Mount Hope Farm Farmer's Market, 205 Metacom Ave.

Familes and children can gather by the 4-H table in the barnyard before the egg and scavenger hunt gets started. The Easter Bunny will serve as master of ceremonies.

Kids are divided into two groups — up to 6, and 7-11 — which will each have its own hunting ground. There will be plenty of eggs hidden around the barnyard. They are redeemable for sweets at the 4-H table. Plus, some of the eggs will contain clues for the scavenger hunt. Solve the clue by finding the right market vendor table and receive an extra treat. Kids should bring their own baskets.
