Fire Department Halloween Party

The Cranston Herald ·

The annual Cranston Fire Department Halloween Party was held at Headquarters Station 2 on Halloween night. There was a steady stream of trick-or-treaters as hundreds of children and their families stopped in for the party run by IAFF Local 1363. Even Mayor Allan Fung and his wife Barbara Ann Fenton joined in the fun. There was plenty of pizza donated by Papa Gino’s, and candy donated by Cranston Parks and Recreation. Approximately 10 firefighters volunteered to make the evening as fun and safe for all who attended. Above, children of all ages began to arrive at the party early, and these trick-or-treaters got a jump on the treats. At left, first on scene at the party were Erin Cheschi as Velma with her son, Asher Mouser, as Scooby Doo. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
