Food Truck Night returns to City Hall Thursday

Warwick Beacon ·

Missed last month’s Food Truck Night? Don’t worry – you have another chance.

FoodTrucksIn, Motif Magazine, and PVD Food Truck Events (with support from Metro PCS and moo.com) are bringing a dozen trucks back to Warwick City Hall this Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Eric Weiner of FoodTrucksIn said there would be picnic tables and a bar for patrons to enjoy in addition to all the food available in the trucks. He’s expecting about 800 to 1,000 people to attend, especially since the last events in August and September were such a hit.

Trucks attending on Thursday will be Championship Melt, Flat Waves, Friskie Fries, Gastros, GottaQ BBQ Food Truck & Catering, Like No Udder, O’Crepe, Open Season, Pat’s Pastured to Go!, Presto Strange O Coffee Truck, SoulFull Fried Chicken, and The Rolling Tomato. The trucks accept cash, credit, or debit and admission is free. Rhode Island’s own Jesse Liam Band will provide live music.

“These are really great free community events where people of all ages can try different foods and hear live music,” Weiner said. Whether you’re a couple on a first date, a family going on an outing, or a retired couple looking for something to do, Food Truck nights have something for everyone, he added.

The Providence-based FoodTrucksIn.com is a database of sorts for all things food trucks. The website currently lists over 3,900 trucks in over 765 cities across the country. The site provides information, locations, and events of food trucks for hungry customers in every corner of the nation.
