A former Warren Town Council member pleaded no contest to operating under the influence and negligent operation charges Monday in Taunton District Court, about two weeks after she was pulled over for allegedly driving drunk in Rehoboth.

Catherine Tattrie, 51, of Rehoboth, was pulled over Friday, Nov. 10, after police saw her driving erratically.

On Monday, she was given one year of probation on the OUI and negligent operation charges, meaning “she admitted there were sufficient facts” to support the charges, a district court clerk said.

A count of assault and battery on a public employee was dismissed, and she was found not responsible for marked lane violations and speeding.

Ms. Tattrie served on the Warren Town Council from 2008 to 2014.
