Have a beer and celebrate

Agnes Quattrini will celebrate her 100th birthday on Feb. 17. When asked about her secrets for longevity, Agnes Quattrini said, "A Coors Light beer a day!" Quattrini will celebrate her 100th birthday on February 17. She is happiest when her family is together, for instance on the holidays, when she has Christmas stockings with candy treats for her 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The wife of the late Michael A. Quattrini, she maintained an "open door " to everyone throughout her life and enjoys being home, cooking, cleaning and making the best chicken soup on the planet, according to her daughter, Linda Marold. Over the years, she also enjoyed drawing, sewing, small crafts, "baking" herself on the beach, and getting dressed up in heels and jewelry to ride the RIPTA bus to meet her friends at the mall.
