Hot On Yer’ Heels

On Oct. 2, the Cranston Police and Fire Departments held the second annual Hot On Yer’ Heels 5K through Garden City. Approximately 250 runners participated.

TRIMOM Productions LLC conducted the race, including the course run and the timing. All proceeds will benefit the Lt. Jim Pagano Foundation, which provides grants and sponsorships for youths in Cranston.

The day began with a Kids Fun Run, which was won by Gianni Santagata, 9, and the 5K was held immediately after. The 5K began at the Gazebo in Garden City Center, went through the residential neighborhood, and then finished back at the Gazebo.
