Recent sub-zero conditions have made it tough to be outside and even tougher for those who make a living shellfishing. Mark Chearino grabbed this shot of conditions in Warwick Cove. According to Department of Environmental Management personnel, a section of Greenwich Bay was sufficiently frozen for quahoggers to use a chainsaw to cut holes in the ice and rake while standing on the ice, conditions that have not been seen for years.
