Interim leader chosen for Mount Hope Farm

A new leader has taken the helm at Mount Hope Farm, replacing Jennifer Bristol, who resigned recently to pursue other opportunities.

Andrea Rounds, a Bristol resident, has been named interim executive director of the farm while the board searches for a permanent replacement, Gina Macdonald, president of the Mount Hope Farm Trust Board of Directors announced Monday.

“We are absolutely delighted that Andrea has agreed to serve as Interim Director,” Ms. Macdonald said in a release. “Her knowledge of the East Bay, her formidable fundraising and community outreach skills are exactly what we need at Mount Hope Farm.”

A graduate of Princeton University, with a Master’s Degree from American University, Ms. Rounds is a leadership and nonprofit management consultant, according to her Linkedin biography. She is the co-founder and interim executive director of Tinker Bristol, a manufacturing incubator located in the Bristol Industrial Park. She is also the executive director of the Bristol Art Museum. Previously, she served as chief development officer for the Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston, and director of development for arts and sciences at Columbia University in New York City.
