Deeply proud of his Irish heritage

Joseph R. “Joe” Doyle, 48, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. Born in Pawtucket, RI, a son of the late Louis F. and Ruth M. (Hall) Doyle, he was a resident of Rehoboth, MA for many years before moving to Warren.

A graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth High School, he attended Computer Science classes at Roger Williams University. He had worked in retail for Almacs and the Seekonk Shell Station as well as for the Hidden Hollow and Hillside Country Clubs in Rehoboth. Having a deep passion for his family’s Irish heritage, he felt most at home when he visited Ireland. He was a talented story teller and will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his sister Debra Going of Warren and three nephews, Carl Chace Jr., Quinn Going and Dylan Going. He was the brother of the late Kathleen L. Chace and uncle of the late Christine Tedford.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 26 in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Visiting hours will be prior to the service, from 2 to 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
