JPD dresses down for dogs

Johnston Sun Rise ·

This year, the civilian members of the Johnston Police Department donated the proceeds of their dressdown Fridays fund to Little Rhody Rescue Rhode Island, a non-profit dog rescue and quarantine facility. Rescuing animals is a cause close to the hearts of all the JPD civilians. Little Rhody Rescue rescues, shelters, and finds caring, loving homes for their animals. They also have many upcoming pet adoptions through various Pet Smart locations.

Tuesday morning, Lisa Floyd presented a check to Kate Healy Dubuque, president and founder of the rescue along with the other civilian members of the JPD – Lori Anderson, Justine Dutilly, Toni Mallane, Colleen DiRaimo, AnnMarie Sabitoni, and Kathy Bedrosian. Not present for the presentation were Michaela Ballirano, Michelle DiPetrillo, Ashley Marocco and Erica Vieira.
