Julie A. Morris, 65, died Monday, October 31, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Albert G. Morris.

She was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Julie (Dixon) Flanagan. Julie had grown up in Narragansett and attended the University of Rhode Island. She has been living in Florida since 1989 and also in Ocean Springs, MS since 2007 when she married her husband, Al. She started her career at Old Stone Bank as a teller before being promoted to their corporate office. She was currently working in software implementation for Munis, a division of Tyler Technologies, where she has been employed since 2002. Throughout her life, music has always been important. In her youth, she sang in choirs and local bands and was often asked to sing at friends’ weddings. She has continued to sing throughout her life and enjoyed singing Karaoke, winning many contests in the last 25 years.

She was the beloved mother of Pia L. Hallidri and husband, Andon Hallidri of Warwick and Tara A. Lamy and husband, Paul Lamy of Coventry; grandmother of Alexandra Potter, Adam Lamy and Jesse Potter; and sister of John Flanagan.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 12th from 10-11:30 a.m. with a service at 11:30 in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private.
