Eight distinguished alumni will be inducted into the La Salle Academy Hall of Fame at a dinner and ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick on Nov. 17.

More than 300 alumni family, friends, and supporters of La Salle are expected to attend the biennial event, which honors those who have had a long association and outstanding record of service and loyalty to La Salle.

“I believe it’s extremely important La Salle makes the effort to honor the graduates who have distinguished themselves by their accomplishments,” said Brother Thomas Gerrow, F.S.C., president of La Salle. “Their accomplishments make them strong role models for today’s students.”

La Salle welcomes the following alumni into the 2016 Hall of Fame: Terry P. Byron ’57; Rev. John F. Denning, CSC ’77; James M. Kavanagh ’64; Thomas E. Maggiacomo ’73; James R. McGuirk ’63; Michael A. Montecalvo ’80; Daniel T. Pires ’59; Dr. John O. Pastore Jr. ’59

The current La Salle Hall of Fame was established in 1996. The criteria for nomination into the Hall of Fame is reviewed every two years by the nominating committee. An alumnus, or person closely associated with La Salle Academy, may be nominated. For a full listing of Hall of Fame members, visit lasalle-academy.org/halloffame.
