Making the world more awesome

Sixth graders at Lippitt Elementary are following the steps of young “politician” Kid President to “make the world more awesome.” They do kindness challenges each week, one of which was creating this pumpkin emoji garden in front of the school to put a smile on the faces of all who enter. “We have been spreading kindness around the school by leaving inspiration rocks around the school yard, positive notes around the school, and collecting socks for the homeless for “Socktober,” another Kid President initiative,” said teacher Bonnie Doyle.
