Martha Cabral, 77, Bristol

Miss Martha Cabral, 77, of Bristol, passed away on Feb. 19, 2017. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Sadie (Mello) Cabral. 

Martha was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, class of 1957. She worked for the Amica Insurance Company for 46 years. Martha was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church, and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. 

She is survived by her sisters, Lydia Cabral, Dolores Malloy (Joseph), Raquel Cabral and Louise McNulty (Jack); and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Cabral and Raymond Cabral (Mary). 

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 from 4-7 p.m.
