Missing Warren teen found unharmed
Maraysha Hicks had been missing since late April
Warren police have located a Warren girl missing since late April.
Deputy Warren Police Chief Joseph Loiselle said Maraysha Hicks, 16, was located earlier this week, though he would not give details about her recovery.
“We’re making sure that she’s getting proper evaluation at the hospital,” he said. “There’s no evidence or information to suggest that she was harmed while she was away.”
Deputy Chief Loiselle said he does not expect anyone to be charged in relation to Maraysha’s disappearance.
Maraysha disappeared Monday, April 26, and was reported missing by her family two days later. Deputy Chief Loiselle said earlier in the investigation that detectives tracked leads from Providence to Fall River, and also alerted Fall River authorities of the case, as she was known to frequent that city. They also interviewed friends and family members, including her twin sister, in hopes of finding clues to where she went.
