The Barrington Animal Control Officer met with public works employees on Tuesday, June 6, after the workers discovered four kittens living in the back of the wood chipper truck.

The truck had been at a repair shop in Warwick for a couple weeks and just recently came back to the town yard. Before their first stop of the day, the workers discovered the kittens in the back of the truck, sleeping in the wood chips.

It is believed that a feral cat may have had the kittens in the truck while it was in Warwick. The ACO brought the kittens to a wildlife rehab specialist.
