It has been 10 days since Maraysha Hicks vanished, and police continue to track down leads into the 16-year-old Warren teen's disappearance.

“My detectives are actively working on it,” Deputy Warren Police Chief Joseph Loiselle said Friday. We are running down tips and information, but nothing has panned out yet.”

Maraysha disappeared Monday, April 26, and was reported missing by her family two days later. A twin, she was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black leggings. She stands 5’4” and weighs about 134 pounds, with wavy brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Deputy Chief Loiselle said detectives have tracked leads from Providence to Fall River, and also alerted Fall River authorities of the case, as she was known to frequent that city. They have also interviewed friends and family members, including her twin sister, in hopes of finding clues to where she went.

Deputy Chief Loiselle did not want to speculate on any theories the police may be working on. He asked that anyone with information on her disappearance call the Warren Police Department at 245-1311. All tips will be kept confidential.
