Mayor Allan Fung officially welcomed Park Avenue Senior Care, located at 1049 Park Ave. to Cranston on Nov. 17.

Once home to the Knights of Columbus, the space has been newly renovated. Park Avenue Senior Care is on the first floor of the building. They provide a structured, comprehensive day program in a professional care setting for seniors needing assistance.

Specializing in cultural diversity, they are the first and only Adult Day Care Center in RI offering Chinese activities, food and culture. Their staff members speak a wide variety of languages including English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Filipino, Swahili and Taita.

Park Avenue Senior Care provides older adults in need of assistance with a wide range of medical, cognitive and social services designed to maintain their community involvement and foster growth and progress. The structured Adult Day Healthcare Program provides piece of mind for the caregiver while providing a supervised, safe and nurturing environment for the older adult.
