On December 12 at 11:01 p.m. Officer Casaceli arrested Holly Deelynn Dossantos (33) of 318 Waterman Ave., Smithfield, for felony shoplifting. Arrest is the result of a pickup warrant issued by the Smithfield Police Department. The arrestee was held awaiting arraignment as a violator.

On December 11 at 7:25 p.m. Officer Leonard arrested Nelson Benitez (23) of 48 Masse Ave., Providence, for domestic breaking and entering, driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property, domestic disorderly conduct, and an affidavit warrant issued by the Providence Police Department as a result of a disturbance reported at 6 Whipple Ave. The arrestee was held overnight as a probation violator.

On December 9 at 9:31 p.m. Officer Travers arrested Rose Hernandez (47) of 69 Warwick Ave. Apt. #3, Cranston, on a Superior Court bench warrant. Arrest is the result of a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Ingleside Ave. and Villa Ave. The arrestee was transported to the ACI on the court warrant.

On December 9 at 9:31 p.m. Officer Travers arrested Luis Avila (38) of 660 Beverage Hill Rd. Apt. #29, Pawtucket, for a Family Court reciprocal body attachment. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Ingleside Ave. and Villa Ave. The arrestee was transported to the ACI on the court warrant.

On December 9 at 9:51 a.m. Officer Travers arrested Carlos Rivera (41) of 654 Elmwood Ave. Apt. B1, Providence, for a 6th District Court bench warrant. A motor vehicle stop on Hillwood St preceded the arrest. The arrestee was transported to the 6th District Court

On December 9 at 1:25 p.m. Officer Detroia arrested Bramgy Brito (22) of 150 River Ave., Providence, for domestic disorderly conduct following a call for service on Victoria Ave. The arrestee was held for arraignment pending the arrival of a justice of the peace.

On December 8 at 11:23 a.m. Detective Sohn arrested Andrew Bainer (44) of 59 Melrose St., Cranston, on a Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a suspicious persons report on Reservoir Ave. The arrestee was transported to Superior Court

On December 8 at 1:08 a.m. Officer D. Dempsey arrested Michael Liberty (38) of 6 Clemence St. Apt. #2, Cranston, for domestic simple assault and battery as well as domestic disorderly conduct. Officer Dempsey made the arrest following a disturbance at the same address. The arrestee was held overnight awaiting arraignment in 3rd District Court.

On December 7 at 4:55 p.m. Sergeant Chapman arrested Anderson Mota (20) of 90 Ayrault St. Apt. #1, Providence, for violating a no contact order after police received a suspicious vehicle report. The arrestee was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

On December 7 at around 12:20 p.m. Officers Clifford and Burke arrested Stephen Pratt (31) of 73 Sprague Ave., Cranston, on a Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was made after a call to police reporting suspicious activity near Garden City School. The arrestee was held for interview by detectives before transportation to intake.

On December 7 at around 12:20 p.m. Officers Clifford and Burke arrested James Monteiro (35) of 213 Morris St., Cumberland. The arrest was made on the basis of multiple warrants, including felony assault with a dangerous weapon or substance, reckless driving/drag racing/eluding police (second offense), driving with a suspended license (ninth offense), larceny under $1,500, misdemeanor shoplifting, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, and a Superior Court bench warrant. A call for service reporting suspicious activity near Garden City School led to the arrest. Arrestee was held for interview by detectives before awaiting arraignment at the Cranston Police Department headquarters.

On December 6 Detective Iacone arrested Damon M McClendon (48) of 234 Orchard St., Cranston, for making a false crime report. Following arraignment in 3rd District Court, the arrestee was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a pre-trial hearing.

On December 6 at 11:46 a.m. Officer Viens arrested Daniel Fusco (37) of 606 Laurel Hill Dr., Cranston, on a bench warrant issued by the 3rd District Court following a call for service at the same address. The arrestee was transported to the 3rd District Court.
