ASSAULT

On January 21 at 5:41 hours, Officer Collado arrested Lisa Corrente, 44, of 37 Sumner Ave. in Cranston for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct as the result of a disturbance at 160 Rutland St. Corrente was arraigned and released.

As a result of a disturbance at 14 Abbot Street on January 18 at 4:38 p.m., Officer Paccasassi arrested Hunter Ward, 20, of the above address for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. Also arrested was Arianna. Both were arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

Officer Scotti arrested Cynthia Santana, 39, of 127 Massasoit Avenue #2 in Cranston on January 17 at 4:25 p.m. for domestic simple assault as a result of a disturbance call at 127 Massasoit. She was later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

On January 17 at 1:15 Officer Lang arrested Patrick Jones, 41, of 28 Sylvan Avenue for domestic felony assault, domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct as a result the suspect turning himself in at headquarters. Jones was then held for arraignment.

DISORDERLY

Anthony Fofana, 24, of 76 Beacon St. #10 in Providence was arrested on January 19 at 12:25 a.m. by Officer Corvese arrested for domestic disorderly conduct as the result of a pick-up at Providence Police Department on a Cranston Police warrant. He was held overnight awaiting arraignment in Third District Court.

On January 17 at 4:00 p.m. Officer Bruno arrested Robert C. Rowan Jr., of 18 New Hampshire Street in Cranston for disorderly conduct as a result of a suspicious person call at the Mobile at 975 Oaklawn Avenue. Rowan was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Officer Henry arrested Christopher Depalma, 38, of 103 Borden Ave, in Johnston on January 21 at 9:18 p.m., for driving under the influence first offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test, duty to stop in an accident with an attended vehicle and possession of a schedule I-V drug (cocaine), as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Garfield Ave. He was held awaiting arraignment.

As a result of a traffic stop at 2430 Plainfield Pike on January 19 at 11:48 p.m., Officer Corvese arrested Mark Johnson, 56 of 7 King Arthur Drive in Richmond for driving under the influence and failure to submit to a chemical test. He was later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

EMBEZZLEMENT

On January 18 at 6:32 p.m.. Officer Murray arrested Keila Ortiz, 19, of 49 Susex St. Apt. 2 in Providence for Embezzlement as a result of a larceny complaint at the Speedway located at 475 Reservoir Ave. She was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

FRAUD

Officer Burns arrested Benjamin Bourque, 38, of 29 Julian Rd. in Warwick on January 20 at 11:36 a.m. for fraudulent checks under $1,000. His arrest is the result of the subject being picked up on a CPD arrest warrant. He was held for arraignment pending arrival of a Justice of the Peace.

RECKLESS DRIVING

On January 20 at 12:20 a.m. Officer Leclair arrested David H. Martinez, 39, of 15 David Drive in Cranston for reckless driving/eluding and resisting arrest as a result of a traffic stop on Elena Street. He was then arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

SHOPLIFTING

Officer Burns arrested Leslie D. Bernal III, 38, of 485 Plainfield Street in Providence on January 17 at 1:14 p.m. for shoplifting and a Superior Court bench warrant as a result of a larceny call at Shaws at 8 Chapel View Boulevard. Bernall was then held for arraignment.

STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

Philips Ghanyea, 25, of 114 Gaulin Ave. in Woonsocket was arrested on January 21 at 12:44 a.m. by Officer Maione for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Hillwood St. Ghanyea was then held for arraignment.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On January 20 at 1:55 a.m. Sergeant Jubinville arrested John H. Aiello, 68, of 80 Thunder Trail in Cranston for operating on a suspended license fourth offense as a result of a traffic stop at 763 Reservoir Avenue. He was released with a court summons to appear.

Officer Rocchio arrested Joseann Espanol, 19, of 89 Wine St. in Cranston on January 18 at 1:30 a.m. for driving after suspension of license third offense following a motor vehicle stop at Dyer Ave. and Bracken St. Espanol was provided a Third District Court summons to appear.

Onix Eduardo, 20, of 248 New York Ave. Apt. 3 in Providence was arrested on January 18 at 5:53 p.m. by Officer McCoy arrested for driving after suspension of license, seventh offense, as a result of a traffic stop on Warwick Ave. Eduardo was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

WARRANT

At 7:32 p.m. on January 21, Officer Sohn arrested Marcus Page, 28, of 28 Norwich Ave, #1 in Providence for obstruction, a Superior Court bench warrant, a Sixth District Court bench warrant and a warrant from Smithfield Police as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Sockanosset Cross Road. He was given a release to appear on the Cranston charge and turned over to Smithfield Police.

On January 19 at 9:54 a.m., Officers Burns and Neri arrested Daryl Overy, 33, of 1 Schiller St. in Pawtucket for a Superior Court bench warrant. His arrest is the result of a motor vehicle stop on Gansett Ave., and he was transported to Superior Court.

Officer Laquale arrested Christopher Kelly, 28, of 12 Eldridge Street in Cranston on January 17 at 1:43 p.m. for a Johnston Police 24 hour domestic warrant. He was then held for arraignment.
