ASSAULT

On August 13 at 12:53 a.m. Officer LeClair arrested Natalie Arnold, 40, of 14 Everbloom Drive in Johnston for domestic simple assault/battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting legal or illegal arrest. Her arrest was the result of a disturbance at Legends Pub at 1458 Park Avenue. She was held for arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.

Manuel Gomes Jr., 55, of 156 Grace Street in Cranston was arrested on August 10 at 10:55 a.m. by Officer Corvese for two counts domestic felony assault and two counts of use of a fire arm while committing a crime of violence. He was held for arraignment pending the arrival of a Justice of the Peace.

Following a well-being check at 1536 Cranston Street on August 9 at 8:50 p.m., Officer Pento arrested Sabrina M. Beckett of the same address for two counts of simple assault and disorderly conduct. She was later released to appear for arraignment.

As a result of on-going assault investigation, on August 8 at 7:25 p.m. Officer Viens arrested Joseph Croce, 32, of 696 Atwood Avenue. Apt. A in Cranston for assault on persons over 60 causing bodily injury and domestic disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and released by the Justice of the Peace.

On August 8 at 8:25 a.m. Officers Lynch and Dempsey arrested James R. Smith, 38, of Kennedy Plaza, Providence, for domestic assault on persons 60 causing bodily injury. Providence Police turned over Smith to Cranston on a previously issued affidavit a arrest warrant. He was transported to the Third District Court for arraignment.

CHILD MOLESTATION

Officer Lynch arrested Robert Masello, 73, of 101 Nipmuc Trail in North Providence for four counts of first degree child Molestation and one count of second degree child molestation on August 11 at 1:23 p.m. The arrest was a result of a pick up on a Cranston Police Warrant. He was held for arraignment pending the arrival of the Justice of the Peace.

DISORDERLY

On August 8 at 8:10 p.m. Officer Jaworski arrested Andrea Fidalgo, 36, of 19 Red Gate Road in Attleboro, MA for domestic disorderly conduct as a result of a disturbance at 72 Princess Avenue. She was arraigned and released by the Justice of the Peace.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

At 1:30 a.m. on August 11, Officer O’Malley arrested Michael Ramos-Saravia, 30, of 700 Cranston Street in Providence for driving under the influence and driving after denial/suspension of license. His arrest is the result of a call for an erratic operator and subsequent investigation at 160 Sockanosett Cross Road. He was later transported to Kent Hospital for evaluation.

On August 8 at 1:32 p.m. Officer LeClair arrested Courtney L. Sweeney, 29, of 60 Paine Ave for driving under the influence first offense as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 south. She was then held for arraignment.

LARCENY

On August 10 at 7:58 p.m. Officer Andrade arrested Reanel Cassell, 33, of 285 Prairie Avenue in Providence for two counts of larceny, two counts of fraudulent use of credit cards and two counts of conspiracy. Cassell was later transported to the Third District Court.

At 7:06 p.m. on August 8, Officers Pento and Leonard arrested Partaja Spann, 33, of 137 Lexington Avenue in Cranston for larceny under $1,500, fraudulent use of credit cards, and conspiracy as a result of an attempted pick up at the aforementioned address. Spann was arraigned and released by the Justice of the Peace.

POSSESSION

As a result of an officer initiated suspicious activity call in the Pocasset Cemetery on August 9 at 12:36 p.m., Officer Smith arrested Andrew Amadeo Parada, 29, of 85 Governor Street for possession of a schedule I-V drug. He was then held for arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On August 8 at 11:24 a.m. Officer Viens arrested Trevor Imondi, 40, of 30 Howard Avenue for shoplifting as a result of a call for service from Walmart store security at 1776 Plainfield Pike. He was then held for arraignment.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS

Officer Jaworski arrested Mark Wilson, 48, of 501 Reservoir Avenue #2 in  Cranston on August 9 at 9:46 p.m. for a sexual offender address change as a result of a warrant pickup by the Providence Police. He was held for arraignment.

On August 8 at 12:45 a.m. Officer Maione Jr. arrested Jose Anthony Franco, 43, of 56 Cypress Street in Providence for a sexual offender address change. His arrest was the result of a warrant pickup by the Providence Police. He was then held for arraignment.

WARRANT

As a result of a motor vehicle stop in front of 1029 Reservoir Avenue on August 11 at 11:42 p.m., Officer Corvese arrested Synthia Cruz, 26, of 19 Crossway Road for a warrant out of the Woonsocket Police Department. She was later turned over to the Woonsocket Police. ***

On August 11 at 10:28 a.m. Officer Murray arrested Michael Olaseinde, 30, of 749 Dyer Avenue in Cranston for a Superior Court bench warrant. The arrest was a result of a traffic stop on Dyer Avenue/ He was later transported to the ACI.

*** Stanley Clark, 35, of 6 Lincoln Avenue in Cranston, was arrested on August 11 at 1:34 p.m. by Officer Murray for a Family Court bench warrant. The arrest was a result of a call for service on Lincoln Avenue. He was later transported to the ACI.
