PORTSMOUTH — The Town of Portsmouth needs to make some important decisions on how its citizens dispose of solid waste and is asking the community for assistance by responding to a survey regarding ways residents dispose of solid waste and what methods they’d like to see utilized in the future.

The survey can be found online directly at www.SurveyMonkey.com/r/SolidWaste2017 and at the town’s website, www.portsmouthri.com.

It will be available in print on Friday, June 30, at Portsmouth Town Hall, the Multi-Purpose Senior Center, Portsmouth Free Public Library, and Clements’ Marketplace.

“Our goal is to make a decision regarding waste management that best balances cost and convenience for our residents,” said Town Administrator Richard Rainer Jr.

The town requests that surveys be completed by July 21.
