Robert Francis DeFeo
Robert Francis “Bob, Bobby, Bobo” DeFeo, 63, passed away at Maine Medical in Portland, ME, on November 11, 2017 after a long illness.
Born in Rhode Island, he was the son of the late John and Jeanne Rose Defeo. Before his retirement, Bob was an auto mechanic, one of the best around. If he couldn’t fix it, no one could! Bobby loved listening to music, especially country. He loved building model cars & going to old car shows. Bobo loved Flea Markets & collecting vintage items. He loved traveling in & around Maine to see the sights and especially loved anything Harley Davidson. He was a RI resident for 50 years before moving to Maine 13 years ago. He loved Portland so much that he decided to stay. Bob will be sadly missed by family & his numerous friends, in both RI. & Maine!
He leaves behind one son, Robert and a granddaughter, Nadia. Bob also leaves two brothers, John & James DeFeo & three sisters: Donna DeFeo & Sandra McCoombs of Warwick &Diane DeFeo of Cranston. He was predeceased by his sister, Judith Walsh. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces & nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service & burial in the Spring information will be posted in the future.
Just remember Bob, you will always be in our hearts & life will never be the same without you! Your quick wit & sense of humor kept us laughing. Remember brother Bob, we love you! Fly high & rest easy until we meet again!
