Rocky the retriever

Well, actually, as anyone who knows dogs, Rocky isn’t a retriever, but with temperatures in the 90s and the cool waters of the bay nearby on Conimicut Beach, Rocky willingly retrieved one flip flop after another when tossed in the water by Nick Delagarza and Paige Colvin. The runt of the litter, Rocky is a mix of terrier and shih tzu. Nick said even days after he was born, Rocky fit in the palm of his hand. (Warwick Beacon photo)
