Santa arrives at Garden City
A SPECIAL VISIT: Mrs. Clause and elves Trixie and Pixie took time out of their busy arrival in Garden City Center to play with Frances Chevalier, age 3, and Liam Bosco, age 18 months, with his mother, Nicolette.

GREETINGS BY SANTA: Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the elves Trixie and Pixie are pictured arriving in Garden City Center last Saturday to a large crowd. The carriage was from Whispering Winds Farm, driven by Pat Mann, and pulled by Girl and Ebony.
By MERI KENNEDY Hundreds of kids of all ages helped kick off the holiday season at Garden City on Nov 26. Santa did not disappoint, as he arrived at the Center in a horse-drawn carriage and greeted his many fans. Along with him were Mrs. Claus and the two elves, Trixie and Pixie.
Families enjoyed face painting, hayrides, crafts, mime, treats, hot chocolate and cookies and, of course, visits and photos with Santa.
Santa can be found in his cabin near the Gazebo, daily, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
