‘Sensibility of Place’ at TinTown Studio

The Cranston Herald ·

TinTown Studio, located at 40 Haven Ave. and owned by Paul Carpentier and Dennis DelSignore, held the opening of its newest exhibit on Oct. 14.

The show, “Sensibility of Place,” features the works of local artists Joanne Baldaia and Luisa DeLuca. A steady flow of people attended the opening and there is no fee to enter the gallery.

The artists work in contrasting media, but share similar sensibilities of place.

Baldaia has been skillfully exploring the realm of photography for over 35 years. Her imaginative eye has taken her across the United States and abroad, capturing the wonders of nature and beyond.

DeLuca is the owner of Argentum Glass Designs. Her bold approach when working with the fragility of glass is one to behold.

The exhibit will continue Oct. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Oct. 22-23 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
