Shane P. Moffat

Shane P. Moffat, 23, of Warwick, passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of Kevin P. and Elizabeth (Griffin) Moffat and loving brother of Amanda E. Moffat.

Shane was a 2012 graduate of Warwick Vets High School, and recently began working at Balise Nissan.

In addition to his parents, and sister, he leaves his maternal grandfather, Gerald T. Griffin, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers. He also leaves his girlfriend, Mariah Mathias. He was the maternal grandson of the late Anne (Spencer) Griffin and paternal grandson of the late William P. and Marjory H. Cronin) Moffat.

He will be sorely missed, although his family is finding some consolation in the fact that Shane was an organ donor, and his heart, and several other critical organs, were successfully transplanted so that others may live.

The visiting hours and service will be held Friday, April 14, 2017, from 3:00 – 5:30 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt. 117) Warwick. The funeral service will begin at 5:30 pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
