A 15-year-old boy from Bristol faces a vandalism charge after he allegedly punched out a window at the Kickemuit Middle School. The boy, a student at Mt. Hope High School, was participating in a charity dodgeball game at the middle school on Thursday, Dec. 9. When his team was eliminated, police learned, he became upset and left the building, smashing a window by the school’s door with his fist on the way out.

Also, a 12-year-old boy from Bristol has been charged with theft after he allegedly stole an iPhone.

The boy, a student at Kickemuit Middle School, allegedly stole the phone on Nov. 29 after teachers had confiscated it from a fellow student and placed it aside until the end of the day. When the teacher went to retrieve it later that day, they discovered it missing. Dean of Discipline Jeff Howlett contacted Warren police; authorities did not develop enough information to charge the boy until last week. He faces a charge of larceny under $1,500.
