Tale of two trucks

A Warwick sanitation truck, making a wide turn from Warwick Avenue to Royland Road, collided with a pickup truck being driven by Zachary Knight of Cranston Tuesday morning. Knight was charged with driving with an expired license. Knight said he slammed on the brakes but could not stop before the sanitation truck turned into him. No injuries were reported, but the smaller truck needed to be towed. (Warwick Beacon photo)
