Taste of the Irish

A new deli and pub open just in time for St. Paddy's Day

East Side Monthly Magazine ·

If you’d like to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day without all that obligatory green beer, there are two relatively new Irish-inspired eateries to put on your radar: Mary Murphy’s (333 Main Street, Wakefield. 788-9400, www.MaryMurphys.com) and Kelley’s Deli (116 Granite Street, Westerly. 596-9896, www.KelleysDeliRI.com). Open for lunch and dinner, Mary Murphy’s is a neighborhood Irish pub with kicked up favorites like Corned Beef Sliders, Reubens, Guinness Beef Stew and Bangers and Mash, to name a few. Kelley’s Deli is your friendly neighborhood breakfast and lunch joint where you can have a full Irish breakfast or their Ultimate Corned Beef Melt. Both are delicious ways to celebrate the holiday.
