Tuesday, Jan. 9
Someone stole a snow blower from a Market Street yard.
A Maple Road woman told police that someone damaged her door, possibly in an attempt to break in.
A caller reported a panhandler on Main Street.
The manager of a Metacom Avenue store reported receiving counterfeit bills.
A woman called police to complain that someone was trying to access her email.
Fire crews were called to Hezekiah Drive for a burst water pipe.
An Arlington Avenue woman complained that her husband would not leave the home.
Wednesday, Jan. 10
A Metacom Avenue man complained about his neighbor’s barking dog.
A Maple Street resident reported spotting a coyote.
A man called police after trying to contact his son, but getting only a busy signal. Police checked it out and found that the son had left the phone off the hook.
A woman found a wallet near Citizens Bank on Main Street, and handed it over to police. They returned it to the owner.
Thursday, Jan. 11
A Market Street resident reported receiving harassing text messages.
Fire crews went out to Jefferson Street for a burst water pipe.
A Bay View Avenue woman complained that someone may have hacked her cell phone and stolen her photos.
A caller told police that her friend posted photos of aspirin bottles on social media.
A caller complained about an ATV riding up and down Taddy Avenue.
Sky Corporan, 25, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, second offense.
Friday, Jan. 12
A loose cow drew police response to Touisset Road.
Police spoke to kids playing on thin ice off Child Street.
Erick Roldan, 27, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense.
An Overkill Road woman told police that her juvenile son pushed her and closed a door on her finger.
Saturday, Jan. 13
A Market Street man complained that someone knocked his mailbox off its post.
Warren police, Harbormaster and fire crews aided in the search for a missing kayaker in the West Bay.
Benjamin D. Bernard, 18, of 201 Main St., was charged with reckless driving and eluding a police officer after police said he refused to stop after being spotted driving erratically and aggressively on Market Street just before 9 a.m. Police notified Swansea officials as he neared the town line, and after he stopped the car and fled the scene, police caught up to him on foot.
An Overhill Road resident reported burst pipes and a flooded basement.
A car struck a deer on Main Street just before 6 p.m.
