A Metacom Avenue man reported getting into an argument with his ex.

A possible drunk driver was reported on Market Street, but nothing came of it.

A Manning Street resident complained that kids were playing ball in the street.

Tuesday, May 16

A Child Street man complained that his neighbor was banging on the walls.

A Seymour Street resident called police at 4:04 a.m. to complain about a loud rooster.

Police got a call that a group of kids were fighting on Norbert Street, and that a female was being dragged by her hair.

Charles W. Kiser, 55, of Newport, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

Money was reported stolen from a ChildStreet home.

A Harris Avenue man complained that a neighbor kept taking his cat.

A caller complained about a teen skateboarding in the middle of Metacom Avenue.

Wednesday, May 17

A trailer was reported stolen from behind a Metacom Avenue restaurant.

Police dispersed a panhandler who was stopping traffic at Water and State streets.

David Roy Rogers, 23, of 32 Davis St., first floor, was charged with violating a no contact order and misdemeanor larceny under $1,500.

Nicole Barlow, 39, of Cranston, was pulled over on Kinnicutt Avenue at 5:20 p.m. and arrested on a bench warrant issued by Sixth Division District Court in Providence.

Thursday, May 18

A Norbert Avenue woman reported receiving threatening Facebook messages.

Police assisted a resident locked out of a Market Street address.

A caller from Touisset Road complained that someone parked an ATV in front of his home.

A Market Street man called police to report that he was having a hard time getting into his home, and that he was concerned that there could be someone inside. Police noted it was only a problem with his key, and determined there was nobody inside.

A cell phone was reported stolen from a car parked on Metacom Avenue; in addition, the caller said the windshield was damaged.

Friday, May 19

A Main Street woman reported receiving an inappropriate text and photo the previous evening.

Police were called to Child Street for a possible overdose.

Police got a report of an intoxicated man riding a bike on Arlington Avenue. Police tracked him down on Cutler Street, “safe and sound.”

Police dispersed a man after a caller reported an argument at her Mulberry Street home.

A caller told police at 10:40 p.m. that a woman was dragged down Main Street by a truck. Police could not locate the woman.

A Norbert Street woman told police that her ex-boyfriend kicked in her door.

Saturday, May 20

A Homestead Avenue woman called with concerns over the way her mother’s attorney was handling her money.

A Metacom Avenue resident reported the theft of a “fidget spinner.”

A caller complained that people truing to uproot a bush on Barden Lane obstructed the road for more than half an hour.

Paulo A. Silva, 42, of 340 Main St., Apt. 10, was picked up on a warrant for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property.

Police searched for a reported drunk driver on Main Street, but came up empty.

Sunday, May 21

Police told a group of people in an Arlington Avenue home to keep it down, after getting a call from a neighbor at 12:43 a.m.

An Orchard Avenue resident who got a call purporting to be from Publisher’s Clearinghouse called police, who confirmed it was a scene.

Monday, May 22

A Metacom Avenue resident reported being harassed by a neighbor.

An Arlington Avenue resident complained that her landlord entered her apartment and started throwing away her property without permission.
