Warren police logs: Two charged with domestic offenses
Monday, Nov. 20
The animal control officer advised people out walking a dog without a leash on Vernon Street about leash laws.
The fire department was called out to Water Street for a fire; it was likely a cooking mishap, the log noted.
Patricia H. Oakley, 62, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, first offense.
An injured turkey was reported on Jacobs Point. No similar calls came in Thursday.
A panhandler was reported on Metacom Avenue.
A dog found running about on Justin Street had gotten out to chase a deer, the owner told police after they located her.
An Arlington Avenue woman told police that her boyfriend was screaming and calling her names.

A juvenile reported as a runaway was found safe and sound, at school.
Checks were reported stolen from a Davis Street home.
A bicycle was found on Baker Street.
A loose dog was reported on Monast Street.
A caller reported a disturbance between a man and woman spotted in a car on Child Street.
Wednesday, Nov. 22
A caller from a Main Street store reported that a shoplifter made off with a bottle of wine.
A girl reported missing from Vernon Street returned home about half an hour after the original call came in.
Thursday, Nov. 23
A caller from Company Street told police that the air conditioner on a house nearby was “knocking.” The caller reported two minutes later that the knocking had stopped.
A possible drunk driver was reported on Arlington Avenue.
Possible gunshots were reported on Homestead Avenue, but police found nothing amiss.
Friday, Nov. 24
A caller reported being threatened by her husband; the incident occurred in Pennsylvania, she said.
Items were reported stolen from a car on Child Street.
Jewelry was reported stolen from a home on Touisset Road.
Passers-by found and returned a blue purse, a license and a backpack. All were turned over to the police.
Police got a call about a woman banging on the door of a Davis Street home. An officer who arrived noted that the woman was intoxicated; she was taken home by friends.
Saturday, Nov. 25
A woman who declined to file a report said a large amount of money was stolen from a car while it was parked in a Market Street parking lot.
A caller reported finding a bag of narcotics on Main Street. Police checked the area but couldn’t find the bag.
Jonathan Coimbra, 22, of 313 Metacom Ave., second floor, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct, after police were called to Metacom Avenue at 1:40 p.m. for a disturbance.
A caller from Mason Street asked that police remove a woman from her apartment.
Luis C. Avila, 49, of 30 Federal St., was picked up on a warrant for domestic simple assault/battery, domestic disorderly conduct and possession of narcotics.
A Market Street man reported receiving threatening text messages.
A man who was out running on Wood Street called police after two men attempted to assault him.
Sunday, Nov. 26
A caller from Overhill Road complained that her husband refused to leave and assaulted her.
A Federal Street man told police that his ex-girlfriend stole his license plates.
Tyler A. Bagley, 25, of 69 Wood St., was picked up on a warrant for misdemeanor shoplifting, and on three Superior Court bench warrants. Police arresting him also charged him with resisting arrest.
A Main Street resident reported a slashed tire.

An officer working a traffic post at Metacom and Franklin reported that a man pulled up to him with a small dog he’d just found. The officer brought the dog to the animal shelter.
