Early penguins
Since the Jan. 1 Penguin Plunge was cancelled due to frigid temperatures, both Robin A. Muksian, PhD, who serves as the Director of Administration for the City of Cranston, and fellow Penguin Paul Harrington did not want to take a chance on the weather for the rescheduled Jan. 21 Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics RI at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett. They dove this past Friday in warmer air temperatures, yet into a very cold ocean. Between both, they raised $11,500 to help offset costs for the Special Olympics Rhode Island summer games.
