Cookouts, parades, fireworks – it wouldn't be the Fourth of July without any of them and Rhode Island's got plenty to go around. No matter where you're getting patriotic this weekend, there's something awesome going on. 

Block Island
Fireworks on July 3, 9-11pm, Town Beach Pavilion, can be observed around the island. Parade on July 4, starting 11am from New Harbor. Annual Steak Fry on July 4th, 12:30-2pm. More info...

Fireworks on July 3rd, 9:30pm, Bristol Harbor (259 Thames St). Concert series ends on the 3 with Tyler and Ryan and Songs in the Attic starting at 6:30pm. Carnival on the 3 and 4. Parade on the 4th, starting 10:30am on corner of Hope and Chestnut. Patriotic exercises on the 4th, starting at 8:30 at Colt Memorial School. More info…

Arnold Mills July Fourth parade starting at 11am on Nate Whipple Highway (Route 120) close to the North Attleboro town line. Four-mile road race starting at 9am (preregistration required) at Chepachet Union Church (1138 Putnam Pike, Chepachet).
