He knows his boilers

David Palmer heating foreman with Riley Heating and Plumbing recorded a milestone recently when he installed his 1,000th boiler. The occasion didn’t go unnoticed as Tom Fitzgerald from Burnham Boiler presented him with a jacket. Bill Riley, pictured here, presents him with a plaque. Palmer worked for his family company, Palmer Oil until sold to a larger company about 2004. He stayed on with the larger company before joining Riley. He has installed both oil & gas systems always making sure the system is at its peak efficiency, correctly installed and all the while passing on his experience to a younger generation. Palmer is a big believer in the trades and educating customers in how their heating systems work. He's built up a strong following with many customers requesting him by name. (Submitted photos)
