More Rocky Point parking

Warwick Beacon ·

Cardi Construction crews broke up and then leveled the former asphalt parking lot at Rocky Point this week. When completed, it will serve as a non-paved parking lot accessible from Palmer Avenue, enabling people to get closer to the water without having to walk from the lot on Rocky Point Avenue. The lot will be enclosed by wooden guardrails to discourage off-road traveling in the park. Before the end of the year, David Picozzi, director of Warwick Public Works, aims to complete a walkway that will make a loop of the walkway now running along the shoreline. (Warwick Beacon photo)
