COMMITTED TO THE CAUSE: Some of the DAV members at Saturday’s installation were Richard W. Schatz, National Executive Committee 3rd District; State Commander Fred Adams; Commander Gilbert Botelho; and Robert Bank, past commander, Chapter 1.
RAISING A TOAST: The Disabled American Veterans group held its installation of officers Saturday at the Kelly Gazzero Post on Plainfield Pike. For the past 80 years, the DAV has been dedicated to building better lives for America’s disabled veterans and their families. Pictured here, the DAV members and their guests dig in to a celebratory dinner.
REPRESENTING THEIR COUNTRY: Also celebrating at the installation were Sgt. at Arms Antonio Tarateta, Trustee Joe Silliman, Chaplain Pat Colucci, Jr. Vice Daniel Branca, Service Officer Mel Hill, Legislative Officer John E. O'Hara and Secretary Raymond Denisewich.
